Once upon a time, there was one old woman who lived alone in her house. She was known as a kind woman in her village. She used to share food with her villagers. She was living a satisfying life. She was poor but she had enough food in her home to eat for the rest of her life. She had many bags of rice and land where she could grow vegetables. Everyone in that village liked her a lot.
She loved children so much. She gives all the fruits to children when they pass by her house. She was old. She had no one in her house to take care of her. She was a strong woman. She wasn't unhealthy. She didn't have any disease. She was friendly and always smiled while she talked. Villagers liked her a lot. She was alone but never felt that way as villagers always cheered her up calling her a strong woman.
One day she went to the market to buy food for herself. She brought all those groceries and came back home. When she was returning to the home she saw one bird sound. It was chanting a lot. She was wondering where was that sound coming from. She noticed there was one parrot behind the tree who was injured. The parrot's leg was broken. She thought maybe that parrot had fallen from the tree.
She took that parrot to her house. She was kind. She felt so bad when that parrot was chanting because of pain. She cleaned his leg and put medicine on it. She gave the parrot food and went to sleep. The next morning parrot was much better. The parrot wasn't shouting as before because of pain. After watching that she was sure that parrot was healing. She took that parrot in her hand and loved her like the parrot was her child.
She feed food and water to that parrot keeping that parrot on her lap. She was so happy to have a parrot with her. She wasn't feeling alone. After three days, she saw parrot was completely healed. Parrot came in front of that old woman and sat by itself on her lap. She was so happy knowing the parrot understood her. After that, she feeds water and food to that parrot. She knew that the parrot was healed, and now the parrot would go back to his home.
So, she put one cream on the parrot's leg which gave the parrot much relief and saved it from infection. The parrot flew away from that house and went back home. After that, she got busy with her usual work. The next day she saw that same parrot coming to her house. That parrot carried jackfruit seed in his beak. That was only y single seed. Parrot threw that seed on the floor of that old woman.
She picked up that seed and noticed it was a jackfruit seed. She grew that in front of her house. She went to the market after that to bring some household things. She returned home and started to make rice pudding. She made rice pudding with lots of love. She provided that to neighbors too. She ate rice pudding and felt blessed to be alive. After that, she fell asleep. The next day when she woke up, she saw that the tree was growing very fast. She was shocked.
On one day that tree was three inches tall. She understood that the tree wasn't normal. She watered that plant and started to do her household activities. The next morning she saw that the tree was grown up as well as jack fruit was there. She was shocked that the jackfruit was even yellow. She went near to that tree and plugged out one jackfruit. She noticed that jackfruit was only 6 feet but all those fruits were yellow. When she tore that fruit diamond and gold fell from that.
She was amazed. After that, she used to sell all those diamonds and gold to the market. She turned her house of cement from a house of soil. Neighbors were amazed at that. There was also one young woman who lived near her. She saw the growth of that old woman. She started thinking how was she growing? She was old and couldn't even do any job to earn, she had no son who would give her money then how was it possible?
She went to that old woman's house and asked everything. The old woman was innocent and told everything about that parrot. How she saved it how that jackfruit seed came and how she got diamond. That young lady was so greedy. She returned to her home thinking she needed to find the injured parrot too so that it would give her the seed of jackfruit which gave the diamond.
She was searching for the injured parrot in the trees but she found nothing. She thought why not she brokebreakparrot's leg and saved it. She started to think brutally about getting the diamond. She saw one parrot on the tree. She caught that parrot and started beating it with the stick. It was so hurtful that the parrot was shouting in pain. After that, she went to her house and changed her clothes. She came back to that parrot and took it with her. She provided medicine and food to the parrot.
The parrot was fine after five days and went back home. After one day that parrot came back to the young woman's house and threw one seed of jackfruit. She was so happy and excited to grow that to get diamonds. She grew that in front of her house. The next morning she saw that the tree was fully grown in one day and the fruits were yellow. She was so happy that she started dancing. She went to that tree jumping. She took one jackfruit and broke it. She saw so many scorpions coming out of it.
She was full of fear. When she broke another jackfruit there were so many white insects. The insects and scorpions were all over that floor. Some of them had already bitten her. She ran to that parrot. She realized that she did a great mistake. She asked for forgiveness from that parrot and promised that she would feed that parrot for the rest of her life.
